At Ivy School, the Highland New Year brought children on a colorful journey to explore traditional culture. Dressed in bright ethnic costumes, our little “highland villagers” eagerly joined in signature Tet activities from the mountains, such as bamboo pole dancing, “nem con” (throwing a ball through a hoop), learning to wrap bánh chưng, playing traditional folk games, and savoring dishes rich in the flavors of home.
Beyond the fun and laughter, the children immersed themselves in songs, dances, and performances, while listening to stories about Tet from distant highland regions. The event not only sparked pride in the nation’s culture but also nurtured a love for the homeland and a deep appreciation for preserving treasured tradition
